Copia Doble Systema is back with a couple of refixes of La Colegiala from the Colegiala EP we posted here last week. Both of them (Exlusive here on Emayo Cutz) are pure fire for the dancefloor. The first one, Maga Bo Remix – CDS Luci Refi, a positive floor filler is named after Copia Doble Systemas’s Bird Luci that recently died (our condolences of course). The second track Dj Thykier Remix – CDS Drumcircle Refix, consist of mainly drums, and is something that could to get you into trance in the early morning hours of the dance…

Copia Doble Systema está de vuelta con un par de refixes de La Colegiala del EP con el mismo nombre que subimos la semana pasada. Los dos (Esclusivos aquí en Emayp Cutz) son puro fuego para la pista de baile. El primero, Maga Bo Remix – CDS Luci Refix, un relleno de vibra positiva, fue nombrado del pajaro de Copia Doble Systemas, Luci, que recientemente fallecido (nuestro condolences por supuesto). El segundo tema, Dj Thykier Remix – CDS Drumcircle Refix, consisten principalmente de tambores, y es algo que podría conseguirle en un trance en las ultimas horas de la danza…

Åsmund of CDS (Copia Doble Systema), also tells me that thay have started a six piece orcestra. They consist of three guys from Colombia, one girl from Venezuela, one Danish guy and a Norwegian (Åsmund). One of Colombians has studied percussion in Bogota, the other is a Reggae and Cumbia multi-instrumentalist – also from Bogota, who has recorded with Junior Reed when he lived in Jamaica. The third man from Colombia is a salsa and bogaloo Connoisseur. He sings, give speeches and stands for Santeria rituals etc during their live show. The singer from Venezuela is also trained in classical ballet and modern dance. Watch out for this show!!

“-We play latin/Cumbia inspired electronic music. A couple romanticos/
baladas and otherwise Cumbia’ish tunes in the direction of our EP . The electronic component is sometimes a little like eurodance inspired in the synth harmonies…but not always. Sometimes we use the ragga vocal styles, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there came a little Salsa feel into a song. You know, Eclectic Electro Cumbiaton Merengue Latino Dancehall Batuchada dance, but with emphasis towards Cumbia. So far we’ve been booked for 3 live gigs in Denmark (April 16, Kolding, April 23, Copenhagen, May 15, Odense).“

Åsmund de CDS (Copia Doble Systema), también me dice que han construido una orquesta de seis piezas. Se componen de tres Colombinos, una Venezolana, un Danés y un Noruego (Åsmund). Uno de los colombianos ha estudiado percusión en Bogotá, el otro es un Reggae/Cumbia y multi-instrumentista – también de Bogotá, que ha grabado con Junior Reed cuando vivía en Jamaica. El tercer hombre de Colombia es una Salsa y Bogaloo connoisseur. Él canta, da discursos y presenta rituales de santería etc durante su show en vivo. El cantante de Venezuela tambien está entrenado en ballet clásico y danza moderna. Asi que pueden esperar algo especial de su show!

“-Tocamos música electrónica inspirado de la cumbia Cumbia/musica latina. Un par romanticos/baladas y de otro modo melodías Cumbiaticas en la dirección de nuestro EP. El componente electrónico es a veces es un poco como eurodance inspirados en las armonías de los synts… pero no siempre. A veces usamos los estilos vocales de Ragga, y no me sorprendería si hubra un poco de Salsa en una canción. Sabes, Eclectic Electro Cumbiatón Merengue Latino Dancehall Batuchada Baile, pero con énfasis hacia la Cumbia. Hasta ahora hemos sido Reservado para 3 conciertos en vivo en Dinamarca (16 de abril de Kolding, 23 de abril, Copenhague, 15 de mayo de Odense).”
