Lamento en la Selva es uno de los grandes exitos del grupo Peruano Los Mirlos. Los Mirlos fueron uno de los grupos fundadores del Cumbia Amazonica o Cumbia Selvatica como también se llama, un tipo de Cumbia que se formo en los anos 70, con base en la Cumbia Colombiana y con influencias y sonidos psicadelicos juntado con las escalas pentatonicas de melodias Andinas. Bueno, seguro que vamos a hablar mas de eso en el futuro.

Mucha gente ha interpretado el tema y también en los últimos años remixeado. Aqui presentamos el original de los Mirlos y tres remezclas, una version de Dub, de Dj Taz Sujestad un Dj/productor Argentino hecho en 2004, uno de nosotros (Joelito y Renbenga) hecho en 2008, y el ultimo (2009) y tambien el que a tenido mas exito que salio en Bersa #5, de uno de los pioneros y fundadores de la Nueva Cumbia, Toy Selectah.

Lamento en la Selva is one of the big hits of the Peruvian group Los Mirlos. Los Mirlos were among the founding groups of the Cumbia Amazonica or Cumbia Selvatica (Jungle Cumbia) a type of Cumbia that was formed in the 70’s based on the Colombian Cumbia and psycadelic influences and sounds coupled with the pentatonic scales of Andean melodies. Most certainly we’re going to get back on that subject in the future.

Since the song has been so apreciated many people have interpated it an in recent years also remixed it. Here we present the original by Los Mirlos and three remixes, a Dub version of  Dj Taz Sujestad a DJ / producer from Argentina made in 2004, one by us (Joelito and Renbenga) made in 2008, and the last (2009) and also that most successful wich came out on the Bersa #5, by one of the pioneers and founders of New Cumbia, Toy Selectah.
